9x12 original acrylic gouache painting of a bunch of vibrant deep red peonies with green leaves on a light salmon pink background, shown framed in a slim black frame by Framebridge

A bunch of vibrant red peonies pop on a vibrant pale orange background that sets off the varying shades of red in the petals and the deep olive greens of the leaves. The mood of this piece is elegant and warm, and it looks simply gorgeous framed with a mat.

It is a 9x12 original acrylic painting on 100% textured cotton paper.

My goal in the studio this October 2020 has been to focus on a daily painting practice, within the theme of "lucky" flowers; flowers that represent something good, since I think we can all probably use more of things like good fortune, happiness, prosperity, strength, love, etc.- anytime, but especially this year.

Peonies are known to represent good fortune, wealth, bravery and love.
