June Wallpaper Update
June's desktop wallpaper is here! Honeysuckle, June's birth flower, is bursting with bright orange blossoms exploding like tiny fireworks on a dark, leafy ground all over my neighborhood right now. Spilling over fences, growing into trees- it's a showstopper; a symbol of pure happiness, and it inspired this month's calendar. Get it here.
Does summer's arrival make you as happy as it does me? Every year it excites me, but I admit, after such a long time at home with very little company, I'm feeling almost giddy at the thought of long days, warm nights and the return of in-person gatherings...
However you plan to spend your June, I wish you a month brimming with happiness and color. I hope this calendar gets you started off right!
Over in the studio, my learning, organizing and systems binge is ongoing. I'm working very hard on refining the operations side of things, and am looking forward to implementing some of my plans over the summer.
As for painting, I'm continuing to work regularly in my sketchbook, and have been making some seascape studies for an upcoming collection.
I'm so looking forward to exploring more of this summer theme I love so much!
I've also been practicing my repeat making skills making patterns in Photoshop. It's been both frustrating and fun learning some new methods and I look forward to the day I can call myself a pro at all of them! But as you probably know, the best way to learn is by doing. I hope to have some fun patterns to share with you in a few months.
